Summary: Post iMust Have Locker 239. Minor Seddie

	Happy Birthday

Freddie was walking home after school. After Sam's mom had totally destroyed the wall, he had gone home. He was mad and frustrated. He really liked Sam, but now he was up a river, about to go off the freakin' waterfall, with nothing more than a paddle beneath him. He had given Sam two hundred dollars to leave locker #239, and she had already been planning to leave it. But that was the only good news he had.

Those two hundred dollars was money he had been saving for awhile. He had a part time job setting up people's computers and firewalls for them. He had been saving the money up to get Sam something for her birthday. The only ones who noticed, much less remembered it were him, Spencer and Carly. He wanted to get her something that said how he felt about her. Something that said how much he liked her. But there was no way he could earn back that money in less than a month. He went over to Carly's to talk about some new things he wanted to do to the website, and then headed home to go to sleep. When he went back to his apartment, he noticed a small envelope taped to his door. Inside were his two hundred dollars and a note:

_Freddie,_

_I hate having a conscience, here's the money._

_Sam_

Three days later as Sam tore into the ten pounds of ham purchased by Spencer, Freddie handed her a large box. Inside was a large heart shaped frame. "What is this for?" she asked around a mouthful of ham. He unraveled a cord from behind it, plugging it into the wall. A minute later, a slide show popped up, showing freeze frames from all the different iCarly webcasts. There were others too, from the Groovy Smoothie, rarer moments when Sam gave Freddie a hug, and any others he could pull from the school yearbook files. There was an epic moment he managed to find of Sam coming after some bully at school with a sock and a piece of string cheese, and won. Another of her posing next to a picture she drew on Mrs. Briggs door of Mrs. Briggs herself playing the bagpipes, only the bagpipes were spewing out a foul green gas. Sam laughed and gave Freddie a two second hug. "I love it! It's perfect. Thank you Freddie." She had entirely missed the tiny heart carved into the back of the frame, with an F plus S inside it. Hopefully she would never notice it, because if she did, she might decide to end his life. But he hoped, deep down, that someday she would see it, and like it, and someday, like him.

End file.
